1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lopaost, including its social, messaging, community, coin, gifting, verification, and AI features. By accessing or using Lopaost, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the Lopaost Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Lopaost.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Lopaost account. Users under 18 may use eligible free social features subject to age-appropriate safety restrictions. Users under 18 are not permitted to purchase, hold, or use Lopaost coins; send or receive paid gifts; apply for a verification badge; or purchase a boosted post. These restrictions apply even where a parent or guardian permits use of the account, unless applicable law requires a different arrangement.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure, keeping your account information accurate, and for activity under your account. You must not sell, transfer, rent, or share an account. You must not create an account for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

4. Community Standards

You agree not to harass, threaten, bully, promote hate or discrimination, share illegal or harmful content, sexualize or exploit minors, upload malware, impersonate people or organizations, promote scams or fraud, infringe intellectual-property rights, send spam, or interfere with Lopaost's security or operation. Serious violations may result in immediate removal, restriction, suspension, or termination.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you lawfully create and share. By uploading or publishing content, you grant Lopaost a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and provide the Service and the features you choose to use. This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to Lopaost. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to content you upload.

6. ZallPaost AI Assistant

ZallPaost AI is a built-in assistant created by Zallixor Engineering. ZallPaost AI responses are generated by logic running on your own device, using only live public statistics from within Lopaost (such as post, story, and member counts) — never your private posts, direct messages, or group messages. Your conversations with ZallPaost AI are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any external server, and are never used to train any AI model. AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular purpose, and are not a substitute for professional advice.

7. Privacy

Lopaost's collection, use, storage, and protection of personal information are described in the Lopaost Privacy Policy, which forms part of the Service's policy framework.

8. Intellectual Property

The Lopaost name, logo, branding, software, designs, and related materials are owned by Zallixor Engineering or licensed to it, and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit protected parts of the Service without authorization.

9. Prohibited Activities

You must not gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems; use unauthorized bots or automated tools; collect personal information without permission; circumvent security measures; manipulate engagement, coins, gifts, or verification systems; abuse the reporting system; or create fraudulent accounts.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

Lopaost may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or platform-security requirements. Content may also be removed or restricted.

11. Service Availability and Disclaimer

We work to keep Lopaost available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lopaost and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary. For significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide notice through the app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable in Nigeria, subject to mandatory legal rights and protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in force.

16. Account Security

You're responsible for securing your devices and account credentials. Notify us through an official support channel if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

17. Username Policy

Usernames must not impersonate individuals, organizations, or brands, and must not be unlawful, misleading, or abusive. Once claimed, a username is exclusively yours and cannot be claimed by anyone else while your account holds it — this is enforced automatically. Lopaost may reclaim a username where reasonably necessary, including for impersonation, abuse, or extended account inactivity.

18. Verification Badges

A verification badge may be purchased by eligible users (18+) for a limited period, disclosed at the time of purchase, subject to admin approval. Verification is granted at Lopaost's discretion and does not imply endorsement. Verified status does not grant immunity from moderation and may be revoked if account information becomes inaccurate, the account violates these Terms, or removal is reasonably necessary for safety or platform-integrity reasons.

19. Boosted Posts

An eligible user (18+) may pay to have a post labeled "Sponsored" and shown to more people for a limited period, disclosed at the time of purchase, subject to admin approval. Purchasing a boost does not exempt a post from these Terms or from moderation.

20. Copyright Complaints

Respect the intellectual-property rights of others. A rights holder may submit a complaint identifying the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, and their contact information through our designated support channel. We may remove or restrict disputed content while investigating.

21. Reporting and Appeals

You may report content or accounts that you believe violate these Terms. Reports should be made honestly. Lopaost may provide an appeal process for eligible moderation decisions; appeals do not guarantee a reversal.

22. Purchases and Payments

Purchases such as coins, verification badges, and boosts are currently processed manually: you transfer the exact amount shown to the payment details provided and submit a reference, and an administrator verifies the payment before crediting your account. A payment claim does not by itself credit an account — it must be verified first. False payment evidence or attempts to bypass payment controls may result in account termination.

23. Coins and Gifts

Coins are a digital credit that may be purchased, held, and used only by eligible users who are at least 18 years old. Gifts are digital items bought with coins and sent to other users on supported surfaces (posts, videos, profiles, messages). Sending a gift requires a minimum follower count, disclosed in-app, as an anti-abuse measure — this does not limit who may receive a gift. Lopaost retains a share of every gift sent, disclosed in-app; the remainder is credited to the recipient's balance.

24. Digital Safety and Messaging

You must not encourage self-harm or violence, exploit or endanger children, or promote dangerous criminal activity anywhere on Lopaost, including in private messages, group content, or voice notes. Automated bulk messaging without authorization is prohibited. We may apply messaging limits or safety measures, including blocking and muting tools, to protect users.

25. Fraud and Balance Adjustments

Lopaost may reverse credits, adjust balances, or suspend an account where it identifies fraud, payment reversal, or attempts to manipulate the coin or gifting systems.

26. Official and AI Accounts

Some content may be published from official Lopaost accounts, including the ZallPaost AI assistant account, and may be posted by authorized staff. Official-account content does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice unless expressly stated. Impersonating an official Lopaost account is prohibited.

27. Product Development

Lopaost is under active development. Features, design, and functionality may change, be added, limited, or removed. These Terms describe the Service as actually offered — we will not treat these Terms as a promise that a feature is available unless it is actually available in the app today. Planned features not yet available (such as full Live broadcasting or a Marketplace) are not covered by these Terms until launched, at which point these Terms will be updated.

28. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party infrastructure, hosting, and media-delivery providers to operate. Lopaost is not responsible for the policies or practices of unrelated third-party websites you may reach through links shared by other users.

What We Collect

We only collect information you choose to provide: your name, email address, date of birth, gender, profile photo, cover photo, bio, posts, stories, messages, and voice notes. We do not collect device identifiers, precise location, or browsing data outside Lopaost.

How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used solely to: power your Lopaost account, display your profile and posts, enable messaging between users, process coin purchases and gifts you choose to send, and provide in-app features like the news feed, stories, and notifications. Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

Date of Birth

Your date of birth is collected once at signup and is never shown publicly. It exists only to enforce age requirements — general use requires you to be 13+, and coins, gifts, verification badges, and boosts require you to be 18+. Once set, your date of birth cannot be edited by you or anyone else, so it can't be used to bypass an age requirement.

AI & Your Data

ZallPaost AI does NOT use your personal data to train any AI model. ZallPaost AI runs entirely on your own device and reads only live, public statistics from within your Lopaost app (such as total post count, active story count, and member count) — never your private posts, direct messages, or group messages. Your chat history with ZallPaost AI is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any external server.

Data Storage

Your account data, posts, and messages are stored securely with third-party infrastructure providers, protected by access rules that are enforced on the server and cannot be bypassed by the app itself. Messages are only ever readable by the sender and the intended recipient — no one else, including Lopaost, routinely reads your private messages.

Uploaded Media

Photos, videos, and voice notes you upload are stored with a third-party media-hosting provider and delivered back to the app over an encrypted connection. Uploaded files are compressed on your device before sending to reduce data usage, and are never used for anything other than displaying them back to you and the people you choose to share them with.

Personal Data Visibility

Your email address and date of birth are never shown publicly on your profile or in search results. Only your display name, profile photo, bio, and public posts are visible to other Lopaost users. You can set individual posts to Friends Only or Only Me to further restrict visibility.

Blocking and Muting

If you block someone, they can no longer message you or send you gifts, and this is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the app. Your list of blocked and muted accounts is private to you — the people you block or mute are never notified.

Coins, Gifts, and Payments

Your coin balance and gift history are private to you and to Lopaost's payment verification process. Manual coin purchases require you to submit a payment reference, which is used only to match your payment against a bank alert for verification — it is not shared with anyone else.

Facebook Features

The Facebook share button in Lopaost uses Facebook's public Share Dialog. Lopaost does not store your Facebook credentials or access your Facebook account. Sharing is handled entirely by Facebook on their own platform.

Your Rights

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data from Lopaost. You may also edit or delete individual posts, stories, and messages at any time.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, posts, and messages are removed; some records (such as completed payment verifications) may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention or legal compliance.

Children's Privacy

Lopaost is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. Coins, gifts, verification badges, and boosts additionally require the account holder to be 18 or older, enforced by the write-once date of birth collected at signup.

Cookies & Local Storage

Lopaost uses browser local storage to cache your feed and save your preferences (dark mode, notification settings) so the app loads instantly. This data never leaves your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when reasonably necessary. For significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice through the app.
